Hello peeps. I'm taking a poll on a wedding question. We may have an unbalanced wedding party, so what have you seen at weddings? Do uneven parties just have the ladies walk down by themselves? Do they share a groomsmen? What goes on? Thanks for answering. :)

Wellll, since you asked, and since I have been in weddings with uneven numbers, I will offer my humble opinion.
In one wedding, the bridesmaids shared a groomsman. Kind of kinky, uh, menaga, oh, however you spell the threesome word...
In the other one, the bridesmaids began their walk down the aisle from the back as usual, while the groomsmen started at the front with the groom and began their walk from the front a little later than the girls began from the back. With me? Okay, so then they met the girl somewhere about halfway, or more near the front than the back. This way, it wasn't so obvious that the girl was making a solo journey without a groomsmen for the girl that had to walk alone. Make sense?
My final thought: it is your wedding, do what you want, don't worry about 'rules' unless that is what you want. In that case, do rules. Just don't listen to me and whatever you do, do NOT listen to Jon's advice about weddings. He's hopeless.
I've seen it both ways. I prefer it when 2 BMs (Bridesmaids) share a GM (Groomsman) but another good way is to have the MOH (Maid/Matron of Honor) walk down by herself.
How many are you off?
Denny actually walked down the aisle (I never liked how the groom always came out of some back room with his groomsman and just stood there waiting). So his 5 groomsman and 1 grooms-lady walked halfway down the aisle then turned to face one another - creating something of a prayer tunnel effect, I guess! - and then he walked between them and then they followed him up the rest of the way to the front of the church.
We did have a missing bridesmaid who was at home sick so there was an uneven number upon exiting. The groomslady and Denny's sister who accompanied the flower girl exited together, just not arm in arm as the bridesmaids/groomsman did as that would have been...Um, uncomfortable! LOL!
There are many creative ways to do your processional/recessional.
I've seen both ways that Christine describes. I like it when a groomsman has a girl on each arm.
