I finally got to go skiing yesterday! It took us a while to get there and get back. It's normally an hour drive, but they were checking every car for 4wd or chains. On top of that, they don't sand or salt out here, so the roads weren't exactly clear. We finally made it there though and It was so fun. I'm definitely rusty and could use some more lessons, but it was fun. The snow was so powdery. It was up to my knees on one part that hadn't been groomed (or something). I got out though, obviously. The weather wasn't perfect, it was a little gloomy and snowing all day, but we had fun so that's what matters. I was reading an article in the Redding paper this morning though and it said that Mt. Shasta has the deepest base of any ski park in the country right now. How wild is that? A lady at a gas station that we stopped at for a potty break said this was the biggest snow fall she's seen in 7 years. Rock on.
Speaking of rocks...that girl is still finding diamonds. Between her and people who visit her house they've found over 30! CRAZY. I'm still waiting for mine to appear. :)

Hey Jen,
What's up with all of these diamonds? That's wild!! Is there a particular significance or meaning - besides that God is amazing!?!? Glad to hear you got to finally go skiing! Big fun!! I want to play! SOON!!!! I hope. Maybe you need to check under your pillow tomorrow morning?? Just a thought that popped in my head; but I know nothing about these diamonds other than the couple things that I've heard from you gals and your SM Judy - that is Spiritual Momma. Peace...
Pictures.......... I need Pictures!
Kdad
No pictures, Dad. I didn't take my camera, plus it was pretty snowy so visibility wasn't great. It's not as amazing as Colorado either. :)
Hey Virgie - You think maybe the diamonds are just rubbing off the side of a decorated bag?? ;-)
